Dr. Aditi S Parikh

Dr. Aditi S Parikh has completed her undergraduate training from Karamsad, Gujarat followed by postgraduate trainings from Bapuji hospitals, Davangere (DOMS) and Prabha eye clinic, Bangalore (DNB), Karnataka. Later, she worked as a consultant at Shekar eye hospital, Bangalore. She acquired her fellowship training in paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology at L V Prasad eye institute, Hyderabad. During this time, she gained experience in managing various eye conditions including paediatric cataracts, refractive errors, amblyopia, simple and complex strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology. Her areas of interest are Simple and complex strabismus, various Neuro-ophthalmology disorders in adults and children and paediatric cataracts. In having presented to multiple national and international conferences and has won many quiz awards. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and written a chapter in an ophthalmology atlas book. Dr. Adeline Lasrado

Dr. Adeline Lasrado completed her foundational medical and postgraduate training in Mangalore and completed long-term clinical fellowship in strabismus, paediatric, and neuro-ophthalmology at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. During this time, she gained expertise in managing various eye conditions including cataracts, refractive errors, amblyopia, simple and complex strabismus, and neuro-ophthalmology. Her areas of interest are paediatric cataract and paediatric neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Anup Kelgaonkar

Dr. Anup completed MS Ophthalmology from GMC, Nagpur followed by one-and-a-half-year stint as a senior registrar in BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai. He later pursued a 2-year fellowship from Vitreo Retina and Uveitis in L V Prasad Eye Institute, Bhubaneshwar. Dr. Kelgaonkar's core areas of interest are Uveitis and Advanced Vitreoretinal surgeries and he is actively involved in clinical research of Uveitis. Dr. Manju Bhate is a fellowship-trained Paediatric Ophthalmologist and Strabismologist with post-graduate training from Pune and advanced clinical experience in Australia and the USA. Dr. Ramesh Kekunnaya is the Network Director – Technology Innovation at LVPEI, where he also leads the Child Sight Institute, Centre for Technology Innovation, and the Jasti V Ramanamma Children’s Eye Care Centre. An internationally recognized Paediatric Ophthalmologist and Strabismologist, he holds leadership roles in WSPOS, POSN, and ISA. Trained in India and the USA, his expertise includes strabismus, childhood cataract, neuro-ophthalmology, myopia, and amblyopia. A recipient of multiple awards from AAO and AAPOS, Dr. Kekunnaya has authored 150+ peer-reviewed publications and 25+ textbook chapters. He serves as Section Editor for journals like the British Journal of Ophthalmology and BMJ Open Ophthalmology, and is a frequent keynote speaker at global conferences. Dr. Srikanta Kumar Padhy

Dr. Srikanta Kumar Padhy has completed his ophthalmology residency training from the prestigious Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Subsequently, he did a research observer ship at the AIIMS, New Delhi, under the guidance of Professor Atul Kumar. He later pursued a two-year fellowship in Vitreoretina, Uvea and Retinopathy of Prematurity from the L V Prasad Eye Institute. Dr. Virender Sachdeva received his basic medical training from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, New Delhi, and specialized in ophthalmology from Safdarjung Hospital, University of Delhi. He completed a fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology at LVPEI with specialization in paediatric ophthalmology before joining the Nimmagadda Prasad Children’s Eye Care Centre, GMR Varalakshmi campus, Visakhapatnam. Dr. Vivek U Warkad

Dr. Vivek Warkad completed his primary medical education and internship at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nasik. He did his residency in Ophthalmology at Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, LNMU University, Bihar, in 2009. He has to his credit two fellowships from LVPEI: Comprehensive Ophthalmology Fellowship (2009-2011) and Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology (2012-2013). He joined the LVPEI Bhubaneswar Campus as Faculty in 2013. He has presented, published papers and videos and delivered invited talks at various national and international Ophthalmology forums. His areas of interest are paediatric cataract, strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology. He has been a task force officer for the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) program of NHM, Odisha for congenital cataract.
